Giamatti is a Stooge!

The Boston Globe is letting us know that the Farrelly's Bro's have found a replacement, now that Sean Penn has left, to play Larry on their take of the Three Stooges film.

The Replacement? Paul Giamatti.

On the other side while Benicio Del Toro is still up to play Moe, Jim Carrey will not be playing Curly.

I definitely do not know in which direction the Farrelly's Bro's are taking this but if it's anything like their other movies...

Doesn't that picture look like Paul Giamatti's take on a psychotic Larry...? That can be a a direction to take the movie in...any takers?

It's Friday! Time for Expensive Escape

This Week there seems to be a movie opening for everyone to see.

For the Women: Mix a little Merly Streep and Amy Adams and add amazing food and you get a delicious new comedy about famous French chef Julia Child and the blogger, Julie Powell, who tackles her cookbook.

For the Guys: Mix big explosions with hot chicks in leather and terrible dialogue and you get G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

For the Kids: Um...I guess you can give repeat views to G-Force...right? I mean who doesn't love talking furry pets?

Next Week: Aliens, Time-traveling guys and their annoyed wives, Vanessa Hudgens and her band, and docs about love.

John Hughes Dead at 59.

John Hughes, director of such classics like The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Uncle Buck, passed away this morning at the age of 59.

Apparently Hughes suffered a heart attack while taking a morning walk during a trip to Manhattan.

John Hughes seemed to capture teen angst perfectly in his films that ruled the eighties.

Hughes is survived by his wife and two sons.

Mother's Day..."Done" Right

I just wanted to take the time to wish all the Mother's out there a Happy Mother's Day...even those Celeb-Moms.

-Dina Lohan- Not sure she's getting any gifts.

-Angelina Jolie- She'll get one gift from each child. So she'll get about 33 gifts...I need to stop with these jokes.

-Soon-Yi Previn- She will be receiving a gift from her husband and dad...which unfortunately is the same person...I'm looking at you Woody Allen.

-Bristol Palin- (insert mean-spirited joke here)

And make sure to click on the link below to see the latest SNL Short about Mother's Day.

Jen's Revenge...Sort of

According to WENN Blog, Jennifer Aniston is on board with Gerard Butler, (who is usually on board with most chicks) on a movie that seems very similar to Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Aniston "plays a journalist on the run from her hitman ex-husband (Butler) after he's instructed to kill her."

Maybe this is Jen's way of sticking it to Brad and make him regret ever leaving her...though I think Brad feels that everytime Angelina adopts another kid...or kids.
Two points for outdated Angelina adoption jokes.
